Meet Kinzie Hansen

Since 2023, Hansen has earned her place on the prestigious USA Softball Women’s National Team, showcasing her skills on the international stage in the Japan All-Star Series. She is a 4x NCAA National Champion and 3x All-American. She was named 2024 Big12 Defensive Athlete of the Year. Hansen was also honored with the 2023 Johnny Bench Award, recognizing her as the Best College Softball Catcher. Her talents don't end there – she's a 2024 NFCA All-American and a 2024 All-Big 12 First Team member. During the 2023 and 2024 at Women's College World Series, she made her mark on the All-Tournament Team.

Notably, this isn't the first time Hansen has represented the USA; she was a key member of the 2022 USA Softball Women's National Team, competing in both the World Games and the Japan All-Star Series. Her stellar 2021 season was a breakthrough, as she earned spots on the Women's College World Series All-Tournament Team, the NFCA Second Team All-American, and the NFCA First Team All-Central Region. Her outstanding performance in the 2021 Big 12 Tournament, where she was named the Most Outstanding Player, demonstrates her impact on the field.

Hansen isn't just a star athlete – she's also a standout in academics. In 2024 and 2021, she made the Big 12 All-Academic First Team.
